Are you discouraged or depressed? Do you know somebody who is struggling with depression? What are the ways that you can help yourself or help them? That’s what I’ll be looking out on this episode of Married By Design.
Today on our podcast we’re going to be looking at another aspect of dealing with depression. We would encourage you to read through the passage of 1 Kings 19 so that you’re familiar with it. But what we want to focus on today is self care. It is so important if you’re dealing with depression or somebody around you is that you take care of yourself physically. If you are not physically well, you’re going to struggle even more with depression.
Your homework, should you choose to accept it, is to discuss as a couple these different areas of sleep, diet and exercise. Make a plan of how you’re going to work on these different areas and take care of yourself.
