Ever find yourself confused, discouraged and your mind cluttered as you struggle with depression? How do you clarify those thoughts and straighten out your mind? That’s what we'll be looking at on this episode of Married By Design.
This week on our podcast episode, we’re going to be looking at our thinking. When we face difficulties and trials and discouragement, part of the problem that we have is that our thinking becomes all skewed and twisted. That can send us into depression and can cause the downward spiral to accelerate.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to discuss as a couple the ways you tend to believe the lies and errors in your life. It would be also good to ask your spouse what lies and errors you believe. Once you recognize the lies, discuss the truth that you need to think on to replace those lies. If you’re not married, I would suggest that you find a good and faithful friend to have that discussion with.
