Are you living a life that is radiant? Are you making choices that are helping you to lead a life of light for gods glory? How does your involvement with other people either make you light or darkness? That’s what I’ll be looking at on this episode of married by design
We want to look today at the importance of fellowship. Especially because of Covid, so many people have gotten detached from each other and from fellowship. If you have gotten detached from other believers and from your church family, you probably have no problem seeing the negative effect it has on your spiritual life. When we become isolated, we become vulnerable and weak in our faith and our light seems to dim. As things are starting to open up now, we want to encourage you to make the most of fellowship in every aspect.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to discuss as a couple your fellowship with other believers. Maybe the first step is going to church each week. But you need to expand on that. What are the opportunities that you have to be connected with other believers? Maybe it’s going to a Bible study. Maybe you need to invite another strong Christian couple over for dinner. Why don’t you invite somebody out for coffee? It may even be somebody that’s some distance from you that you can talk to on phone regularly. Are you taking advantage of the events at your church to meet other believers and develop relationships? Let me just underline one thing. I would not encourage you to view social media as fellowship. While there are some benefits to things like Facebook, it hardly allows you to be really connected with other believers. You need to decide as a couple those ways to really be connected with other believers to encourage you.
