This week's guest is the Jewell Singletary (Content Creator/Founder of Gratitude Griot LLC).. She dropped in to talk about her love of the 1999 cult tv show "The PJ's". This is a stop motion animation show that ran from 1999-2001. It follows the lives of the occupants of an inner city housing project ran by a cantankerous "Super" voiced by Eddie Murphy. I talked to her about the cultural relevance of a show like this; Her favorite episodes and questioned if a show like this re-enforced bad stereotypes. Because of her background as a Holistic Wellness Instructor.. I asked her to watch the movie "Holy Man" and give me her honest opinion of it.
