A Message for Moms
1 Kings 17:8-24 (ESV)
1. You are not where you are right now by chance.
a. You are not a parent by chance. Proverbs 16:33; Psalm 139:13-16
b. You are not in a desperate situation by chance.
c. What your suffering accomplishes:
i. It perfects you. James 1:2-4
ii. It connects you to Christ. 2 Cor. 4:11
iii. It will never destroy you. 2 Cor. 4:8-9
2. God has blessed your life before and He can do it again.
a. Proverbs 22:9; Proverbs 28:20; Romans 8:28
3. True faith will sustain you.
a. Psalm 55:22
b. How do I cast my burden on Him?
i. Obey God.
ii. Give God everything you.
iii. Let God do his work.
