Luke 2:8-20
The story:
· The shepherds were doing their thing. (v 8)
· The angel did his customary pop-in. (vs 9-10)
· The angel gave the announcement. (vs 11))
· The angel didn’t give specific directions. (vs. 12)
· The military got involved. (vs 13-15a)
· The shepherds reacted. (vs 15b-16)
· The shepherds reported the story. (vs 17-18)
· Worship followed. (vs 19-20)
What do I do with this?
1. Expect a word from God.
2. See and receive the real Jesus.
3. Share the good news of Jesus’ birth.
4. Respond with worship.
