The Testimonies
Luke 2:22-40
The two testimonies of Simeon and Anna tell us some very important things:
1. Jesus is the Messiah
2. God is worthy of thanksgiving for sending Jesus.
3. Jesus is the only way to the father.
4. Jesus reveals the true hearts of people.
5. Sometimes we suffer following Jesus.
What do these testimonies urge us to do?
1. Be God-fearing people.
2. Be obedient to His Spirit’s leading.
3. Look for the second coming of Jesus.
4. Tell everyone that He is coming again.
