Concerning Anger
Matthew 5:21-26
Jesus teaches 4 things about the sin of anger.
1. The internal impulse: Anger comes from the same internal source as murder.
2. The resulting ruling: Sins committed in anger will earn you judgment.
3. The peaceful priority: Living peaceably with others is more valuable to God than your offering to Him.
4. The speedy settlement: When you have wronged someone, settle it quickly.
All of these correlate to your relationship with God.
1. You have an internal sin problem.
2. That problem will earn you a judgment by God that is eternal.
3. He desires you to live at peace with Himself.
4. Why don’t you quickly make amends with God?
