The Arrival of Jesus

6 things I learned this week about the triumphal entry:
1. The triumphant entrance is 1 of only 10 events recorded in all four gospels.
2. Jesus had the disciples retrieve two donkeys.
3. The disciples proclaimed Jesus to be the Messiah, but the Jews in Jerusalem introduced Him as a prophet.
4. The Mount of Olives was located between Jesus’ friends and Jesus’ enemies.
5. This was not a completely joyous occasion for Jesus.
6. The Jews in Jerusalem went out to meet Jesus because of Lazarus.
