It would have been tempting for Scott Satterfield and the Mountaineers to overlook the Louisiana Monroe Warhawks (ULM) on Saturday. After all, they have a poor record and Georgia Southern will be knocking on our front door a mere 5 days afterwards for a Thursday night showdown on national TV that will help shape the Sun Belt championship race.Luckily for us, the Mountaineer faithful, App State fought off a shaky start and delivered a crushing blow to the Warhawks. And "crushing" is putting it nicely.After a 24-14 halftime score, the Mountaineers went on to completely shut down the ULM attack and rack up 59 points and 650+ yards when it was all said and done.
