Money itself is not a sin, but the value we place on it can be. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil...” Read carefully, because many miss that small four letter word, “love,” and therefore interpret this text to mean that having money is a sin. It is not a sin to be rich or to have a lot of money. That is not what this text is saying at all. Let's take a deeper look.
