Happy Valentine's day! On this day where we have set aside to celebrate love, I give you a story of true love for our beloved dog, Buhla..also a story of love and friendship on an island in the middle of the Pacific just one of many, many stories that I am deeply grateful to be able to tell and the people and dogs I am able to call my loves..True love belongs to those being that are able to begin you back from the brink, whether as the hero dogs did for Matt guiding him through the forest, healing our hearts of loss and griefs and our friends making sure to bail me out of jail as well as to help get the dogs body on ice, from Molokai to Ohau and to the crematorium .. love indeed gets us through the good days walking on air, however, I believe the truest love gets us through the weird and the wonderful in equal measure..
