What’s on your mind, unicorn? 🦄 Send me a text!

Your brain naturally wants to simplify the world around you, to make it easier for you to take in all the stimuli and information coming at you at any given time. But to be more creative, you have to interrupt your mind's tendency to wash the world into a simplified model. A color walk is a quick and easy way to hone your ability to notice the little things in the world around you.

You can do this anywhere you are moving – whether on a walk, in a car, or on a train – making it a perfect commute activity. It is my favorite creativity-booster (I do it nearly every day) and I can't wait for you to try it and experience all the little magical moments of surprise-and-delight it brings.

Color Walk Instructions:
1. Start moving.
2. Pick a color.
3. Notice that color.
4. Be surprised and delighted!
