My husband and I learned how to wind surf this weekend, and it offered us some powerful reflections on resilience, but I also realized what an amazing metaphor it is for following your intended life path.
Which makes this a perfect #ThursdayThread episode to reflect on what Felicia Bender shared on Tuesday about following your purpose.
Like learning to balance on a surf board while trying to learn how to pivot with the changing winds, following our purpose is not always easy. It can be outright frustrating at times! But the truth is that, like Felicia shared, it's supposed to give us little opportunities to be challenged and to pivot along the way, because that's how we learn to hone our skills, lean deeper into our flow, and allow our sails to catch so we can truly fly.
It can also help to have tools that support us along the way, and knowing your numerology life path can be one of them! I recommend looking up and calculating your own numerology life path and reflecting on what it could offer you in terms of understanding both your light and dark sides.
Our intended path is to lean into the ease and flow - the lightness. But we will always face resistance and challenges along the way - our shadow side. The shadow is here to increase our capacity for more and more light, so the difficulties we face are actually supportive to helping us grow!
