This week on talkabout, we discuss the best of the best Movie openings that are largely impacted by their use of music. Baby Driver, Shrek, Top Gun, Saturday Night Fever...32 films with only one winner in a tournament bracket discussion.
Ellis does terrible impressions of Owen Wilson, Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson...all at the same time and Shrek sings Bellbottoms. It's all go and all very musical.
A film should always start with a bang! And sometimes the best way to do is to have Shrek bursting out of a cabin, or some pilots work on their jets...but the very best way is to update a version of the Pokemon theme tune, and let it vibrate your pokeballs (if you know you know).
