This week Ellis & Gwilym talkabout VIDEO GAME MOVIES. The highs, the lows, mainly lows to be honest, but there's the occasional high (if you count 3 stars as high). 'Warcraft', 'Assassins Creed' and 'Pokemon Detective Pikachu' are amongst the films in discussion here. Yes, notoriously video game movies aren't critically or commercially received in a positive light, but we do try to find some likeable aspects to the genre. In conversation here is the prospect of putting John Wick in every single video game movie, the future of video game adaptations and a couple of 'Minecraft' villagers show up. One host shows off his Pokémon impressions, the other grills 'Mortal Kombat' and surprise surprise Gwilym gets a few names wrong!
