Hello Fellow Golfists,
Max Homa won at Riviera today and it was great to see him win his 2nd tournament on the PGA Tour. I was again sad to see that Tony Finau could not seal his 2nd win on tour. But Max Homa is from Burbank California. I used to work at DeBell Golf Course in Burbank which means that Max Homa very likely played at DeBell GC back when he was young. I enjoyed remembering my time at The Greens at Valencia which was very near the 14th tee at Valencia Country Club the site of the 1998 Nissan Open. It was the only time in the modern era that the Nissan / Los Angeles Open was held at a different venue other than Riviera CC, because the US Senior Open was held at Riviera CC in 1998.
