You know when couples get remarrried, with stepkids? It's definitely not what many couples expect (nor what the kiddos are anticipating!)
Today's episode, slightly edited from its original publication, mimics what it means to blend "families" (aka platforms) together.
What it means:
1. It feels like starting over.
2. It's a bit fuzzy to me why the family members (platforms) won't work well together
3. More work is required.
4. I feel a bit frustrated about the time it is taking to make this right.
5. The help desks on different platforms are directing me to yet another help desk. (It's like they are speaking another language!)
What I choose:
1. Acknowledging that my roots are important (in my blend and in my podcasting journey).
2. Even though it is fuzzy, I'm following the steps because I'm trusting the information I have right at this moment.
3. Asking myself the question: Is this important? The answer is, "Yes!" Ministering to blended families is a passion of mine!
4. Same - I'm still frustrated!
5. Being clear on what I want and willing to learn some new lingo, too.
While I am definitely NOT in the same place at the inaugural recording September 3, 2020, I can relate to my old self's perspective at this time.
Since then, I've moved from STUCK to UNSTUCK in my blend.
Sharing a bit of my story with the world helped me to heal, grow, and help others along the way.
