A star quarterback in high school, PATRICK CASSIDY, had dreams of playing in the NFL. However, a collarbone injury saw him join drama class, and the rest is history. As an actor, he has appeared in numerous plays from his debut in 1982’s Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance, to 2001’s Aida, in which he won the National Broadway Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Touring Musical. On the screen, he’s best known for his roles in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993), Smallville (2001) and I'll Do Anything (1994). As the son of Academy Award winning actress Shirley Jones, he shares the family limelight with the famous Cassidy Brothers; Shaun, David and Ryan.
