A pizza is a pizza is a pizza... right? Wrong! 

Particularly in the US, when once again, regional varieties rule. We discovered 18 distinct types. Crusts play a big role in that variety with the US adopting and then modifying the Italian tradition. Detroit variety has become a big thing and we cover that is some detail. A few other styles are Old Forge, Grandma, Sheet and Quad City.

The podcast also meanders down the road of Origin, WWII, Eggs, Shredded Ham, Subs, Bagels, and Wolfgang Puck. And none of our podcasts would be complete if we didn't recall a little Pizza Pop Culture.
