Think tea in the US and you're probably thinking iced. While that may be true, it was not always the case. Tea plays a large part in early American history. As a British colony they did sip it. But about 250 years ago it became unpatriotic to do so. We give you a very quick Boston Tea Party lesson.
With warmer climates and sugar and ice, changed everything. This led to regional tea traditions and the establishment of a number local tea manufacturers. After that came the bottled tea varieties.
