Description

When I first heard of gut health I immediately associated it with the stomach. But the reality is, gut health is a full-body experience. And something that plays a fundamental role in our overall health and well-being. From mood to hormone balance to energy levels, so many things that can affect our daily lives depend on having a healthy gut.

But what does having a healthy gut mean, and how can you improve yours?

I'm bringing back Dr. Olivia Rose, a naturopathic doctor based out of Scarborough, Ontario, to talk all things gut health.

We cover:
- What systems make up your gut
- Symptoms that suggest your gut may need a little attention - and a reminder that common doesn't equal normal
- What can disrupt gut health
- The insanely fascinating gut-brain axis
- And simple ways you can support your gut without drastic diets or hundreds of dollars in supplements.

Green at Home is no longer an operating business, as its founder, Emma Rohmann, has gone back to her engineering roots in large-scale green building consulting. She is keeping her free resources, including the podcast and blog, live but you will find other links to resources are likely broken in these show notes.
