Description

Jocelyn speaks candidly about her motivation to start her own food production business producing homecooked delicious curry sauces.  She shares generously not only her secrets to success but also the amazing benefits the venture has brought to her personally in her fifties.

This episode will lift your spirits and leave you feeling inspired and, very possibly, hungry!

About Jocelyn:

Until recently, Jocelyn was a full-time Biology teacher with a passion for curry.   Soon to give up teaching, she has followed her passion and started her small business ‘Karma Curry’, making fresh, authentic easy to use curry sauces by adapting her wonderful mother-in-law’s recipes.   Two of the sauces are named after regions of India connected to her family and the other three, a nod to her time in London, as well as travels to India.

She identified a gap in the market for a fresh sauce, that is quick and easy to use with authenticity.   Her sauces are available in ten shops in and around London including Provenance Village Butcher and Basil & Toms.  She has plans to scale up, take on more staff and is in discussion with a major supermarket.

She wants to hear people saying, "Let's have a 'Karma' night, not just a 'curry' night!
