#111// What does it look like to vision and make a plan in the Kingdom?

Years ago, I felt the Lord urge me to look and see what the Bible had to say about goals and goal setting. When I did, I found that goals -- at least the way we define and approach goals in our culture -- aren't really godly. Now, that's a big statement, I know, but it's important to run everything through the filter of scripture, right? And so as I did that, I came to understand that, while our present culture's take on goals isn't very godly, goals *can* actually be used in a godly manner -- as a tool -- to help us hold focus on Kingdom endeavors we're engaged in. Goals can be like a "budget" for our time and effort. The key is always going to be to ask: "Who's informing and approving the budget?"

In this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast, we're going to go one step beyond contemplating if goals are godly (we've established that they can be on an earlier episode), to step into how to create this "time and effort budget" for the coming year in a Kingdom way. So if you're ready to get into it, I want you to grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!
