In this episode of AUHSD Future Talks, Superintendent Matsuda talks with Jennifer Goodwin. Ms. Goodwin is a Licensed Vocational Nurse with 18 years experience with direct patient care and 5 years experience in education with ROP in the Anaheim Union High School District. She believes that reaching youth with a passion for healthcare will increase the quality
of care in the future for those needing medical help.
Ms. Goodwin is currently the AUHSD COVID Response Youth Lead and was given this opportunity after assisting on the front lines in New Jersey when the pandemic began. Along with her teaching duties she is working locally in COVID units as well. Ms. Goodwin was just recognized as the ‘Employee of the Year” by North Orange County ROP. In addition, Ms. Goodwin holds a certification as an infection control professional and has worked as a Director of staff development in the Mental Health field.
