The Serenity Prayer is a powerful tool to help us align our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Aligned actions can lead to peace. As we approach the holiday season, it's a perfect time to evaluate which thoughts serve us, and which ones we need to release.

- The Serenity Prayer starts with accepting the things we cannot change. This is very challenging, as we CANNOT other people's thoughts, feelings and actions
- Acceptance begins with noticing that many times we cannot change the circumstances or results of our lives
- And that’s where courage comes in. It takes a lot of practice & work to change your thoughts and expectations
- When people have very different expectations about the holiday season, AND do not have the self-awareness to be clear about what they think, feel and do, they likely will be expect other people to think, feel and do life the way we do
- It's not easy to notice the difference between what we need to accept and what we need courage for. That's why the prayer ends with wisdom to know the difference
- Stay curious. Keep noticing. Choose new power thoughts to try on
