"Above all else, be kind." -Aldous Huxley

This week's episode is a conversation about death. When we lose someone we love, or have a near death experience of our own, we immediately think of our own lives in a different context. We awaken to how precious and fragile life truly is. But why does it take such strenuous circumstances for us to come to this realization? Are there ways we can incorporate this perspective into our day to day life even when things are going well? Kyle and Matthew share stories from close encounters with death, and how it ultimately changed their outlook on life. Lots of love being sent to Roddy Hanson this week, as he unintentionally became the inspiration for this episode with a health scare of his own. Roddy is doing well and recovering in the hospital, but he reminded us of how quickly things can change, and why we should never miss an opportunity to be kind, and show gratitude for everything we have in this beautiful life.
