Jesus came to set us free. He was not talking here about external freedom - the freedom of a democracy, the freedom to vote, to speak, and to worship openly and publicly, but rather internal freedom. Freedom from the internal bondage created by sin, guilt, worry, fear, and bitterness.
July is freedom month at Asbury. How do we discover and experience freedom from guilt, worry, fear, and bitterness? Jesus said, "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free."
