Rhonda Rawlings, a longtime radio staple in the Greenville area,, shares her journey of faith and perseverance with Marjy Marj on Humanity Chats .
A former news and community affairs director for Summit Media, Rhonda is the host of Uplift Upstate - a show uplifting residents of the Upstate of South Carolina. The New York native studied radio, television and film at Temple University, and worked in TV in Los Angeles before taking a job in the Upstate. Rawlings has also served as a local producer for the Tom Joyner Morning Show and the host and producer of two Sunday morning shows, “Pause For the Cause '' on WJMZ and “Hot Topics' ' on WHZT.
Rhonda was a recipient of the Merit Award for Radio Reporter of the Year in 2011, 2015 and 2018 by the South Carolina Broadcasters Association. Most recently, Rhonda served on the Cory Booker and Tom Steyer Presidential campaigns.
