Payton's Week!
This week is a tough one. We discuss the murder and torture of Junko Furuta. She was a young girl with a lot of potential from Misato, Japan. Four boys from the area kidnapped her and held her captive for over 40 days, and it that time she suffered unimaginable horror.
This case was on another level of evil, but because the crimes were perpetrated by juveniles, they were rewarded special previsions under the juvenile law. This along with other violent crimes committed by minors led to somewhat of a reform of the juvenile law.
