INTRODUCTION

Without knowing this about God and man we are lost: lost to our importance and significance as humans and lost to knowing the reason we exist and the purpose of Christ’s salvation. We lose this and we lose everything. We don’t know where we came from or why we are here. We don’t know our worth and value. We have no idea of why Christ came to die and rise again to save us. We don’t know why we exist or why Christ came. This is the first mention of man in the Bible and according to the hermeneutic law (the science of interpreting Scripture) of first mention it will say a huge amount about the doctrine of man. When they see man they would know everything they need to know about God. That is the purpose of every living human being. We were made to bear the image of God, to be like God. Man was made to think like God, act like God and do the works of God. We will never be God, but we were made to be like God and to have dominion over everything in God’s creation... to read more click on the following link...
