Veterans In Politics Episode 4 with Dan Jarvis MBE MP

Dan is a veteran of the Parachute Regiment and was awarded an MBE during his military service. As well as being the MP for Barnsley Central, he is also the elected Mayor for South Sheffield Region, a post that has gained prominence during the COVID19 pandemic.

In this episode, he talks about how his dealing with personal grief motivated him to stand up and serve again, and how service doesn't leave you when you decide to leave the armed forces. His advice to you all: 'get stuck in and go for it!'

This episode with Dan was a humbling experience showing the power that overcoming adversity can have in our lives.
