Jay is a serving reservist army officer currently campaigning to be a Police & Crime Commissioner of one of the largest police forces in the country.
Jay and our host Jonny work out many similarities in both their childhood and their military careers in this chat, despite coming from very different backgrounds. It just goes to show the uniting power of the military community.
Our host Jonny first met Jay at Conservative Party Conference where he generously gave his time as a guest speaker at a CampaignForce fringe event. It was therefore really great to sit down and find out more about Jay, his childhood, family, key drivers and hopes for the future.
This is an episode where you really do get to know the man behind the politics.
