Self Care is something that we will thank ourselves for later on. It shouldn't be "optional". It should be incorporated into your everyday life.
As we age, parts of our life end and we need to move on from a certain role. This might cause a grieving process. For example, my kids are gown and moving on with their life and my role is very different. I am finding myself grieving the loss of my "job" for the last 20 years. This real thing for a lot of women in their 40's or 50's These transitions could be changing jobs, moving, parenting, or starting a business. Especially over the last few years with covid. So much has changed. Identifying what is next for you can be difficult and it can also be incredibly exciting!
We can start by identifying your intentions on who we want to be in this world and what kind of work do we want to do at this phase of our life? It may be very different than what we said when we were younger about, "What do you want to be or do in your life?" We have grown and learned changing directions is totally ok.
