Ginger Baerg is a wife, mother, and middle school assistant principal. Ginger and her husband, Dustin, felt called to grow their family by fostering and adopting. The Baerg family has fostered six kids, and have adopted two, becoming a family of seven!
Ginger is the author of two childrens books, My Patchwork Family and Lavender's Story tell the story of our family's journey through foster care and adoption. The first book gives a voice to an unsung heroes, the children in the families that foster. That story is about those heroes that love and accept all the kids that come to live with them when their family chooses to foster. The second book shares the story of a child in foster care searching for her forever family. It tells of the pain and sorrow along with the hope and love involved in her journey.
