Kelina Powel was born born healthy but at the age of 4, she got sick and after seeking treatment from her doctor, and put on antibiotics, just a few days later, she went deaf. Suddenly she became part of a community she knew nothing about. She shares with us how living her life half in the hearing community and half in the deaf community really defined who she is today. Through bulling, misunderstanding and ultimately acceptance, she has thrived to understand both communities and be a beacon of light to those who need to do the same, but don't know where to start.
Kellina is a young entrepreneur who loves to help people with their personal growth and educate others about the deaf community. She recently graduated with a psychology degree and is now starting her own online coaching business while launching her book!
