Description

If you are new to this podcast or to breath practice this is a good episode to begin your explorations. We begin with aloha, that Hawaiian value of unconditional love and the outpouring and receiving of Spirit. An additional value of Aloha, Ka La Hiki Ola, “the dawning of a new day” informs our meditation and carries our intentions to our world.

From time to time it is useful to take a fresh look at how the breath is moving in your body. When you have been practicing a while your breath begins to change, hopefully creating more ease and softness, more flow. This episode looks at those how we are breathing today, noting the various structures of the breathing body, as well as the link between breath and thoughts. We explore how the use of breath practice allows us to soften the mental body and cool the thought patterns that can cause stress or distress. We move from there to the circulation of prana throughout the body, recognizing the nourishing energy that enlivens all the cells of the body and beyond to our Body of Light, our energy field. We open the doorway of higher consciousness letting ourselves bear witness to our deepest Inner Truth.
