Tanya Jane (Viala) is a trained and professional tattoo artist from Stoke on Trent, UK. She began her career in 2013 and since then has traveled the world tattooing and learning from the best in the industry. She offers machine tattoos and also the art of handpoking. Specializing also in scalp micro pigmentation and brow micro pigmentation. Tanya is also undergoing training in areola reconstruction.
She is the owner and founder of the The Inked Emporium and Cosmetic Tattooing. Her desire lies in helping others to attain their artistic and cosmetic desires. She is also a reiki healer and energetic healer something she likes to bring into her studio and tattoo experiences.
Tanya and I had a really interesting discussion about being a small business in Kelowna; world history of tattooing and what it means to her personally; challenges of moving from the UK to Canada; setting up an eco-friendly tattoo studio; and what's hot right now in tattoo art.
