Ryan Maarschalk is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and candidate for the Chartered Business Valuation (CBV) designation. He is the founder and CFO of Maarschalk Capital.
Previously, Ryan was CFO for Impact Radio, a private company in Kelowna British Columbia for 3 years, and led the companyʼs sale for $23M in 2016 to a private equity firm.
Prior to that, Ryan co-founded a restaurant chain, and spent 4 years in public practice with a leading Canadian accounting firm. Ryan is a true financial leader, and brings business valuation, M&A experience, and strategic planning to enhance shareholder value.
Ryan grew up in Zimbabwe prior to obtaining honours in Biomedical Science from Western Michigan University. There he captained the NCAA tennis team. Ryan later went on to play professionally and coach tennis with the Junior Canadian national teams, prior to going into business and finance. Today, Ryan volunteers his time in tennis and serves on various boards.
