We just knew moments into this episode that we were going to be going OFF. Tune into about an hour of us essentially standing firm for the premise of the show and validating Gabby and Rachel’s clearly set expectations that they want an engagement and thus, reading between the lines, a firm commitment. What is with these men constantly lowering the bar every season??? We bring up common arguments against the engagement premise (it’s old-fashioned, they settle instead, it would be just as good without, etc.) and feel we have solid evidence against them all when we go back to the narrative stakes of what sets the show apart. Give it a listen and see if you agree or your mind is changed a little bit.
