Today's episode is about the power of language to shape our perspective on the world around us and how we choose to navigate within that.
Language shapes our ideas of ourselves and how the world works. Each language with it's own cultural context and nuance creates a cognitive structure and representation of reality according to that language.
Language can be expansive or restrictive, the words we choose matter. Words are assigned a meaning and then we shape around those meanings. The words we choose shape us, literally.
There is a cascade of physiological effects throughout the brain and body sending information about what is needed according to the language used both to ourselves in our head and aloud.
Get in there and give it a listen for more on how you can use the power of language.
