This episode has been inspired by the recent tragedies that add to the seemingly constant loss and tragedy we have somehow normalized.
I usually don’t talk about all the bad shit, there’s plenty of it, and it’s not because I want to pretend it doesn’t exist or ignore it and just be positive vibes only or any shit like that…
My focus is generally on how we can navigate our own experience with our mind and body and how to understand these things better… but we do not live as islands.
We like to pretend here in the states that we are all individuals and we do everything alone and we deal with shit alone and we succeed alone… none of that is true for anyone.
And so we can not pretend that the trauma around us does not affect us because it does even when we don’t acknowledge it.
