Today's episode is a bit of a vulnerable trip down memory lane.

It starts with a reaction I had to a request my husband made for some alone time, which none of us have had in the last 10 months with on and off lock downs and business shut downs.

I take a step back to realize that my reaction isn't to his request but to my memories of being without a safe place to be in other parts of my life.

Here is the post I mentioned about the ability to reframe our thoughts around a situation.

The experience that led to this episode wasn't anything significant, but having the ability to look past my initial reaction and really dig into the reasons underlying my initial feelings was powerful.

We can't begin to manage the things we're unaware of... and after awareness we need to have the tools in place to help us get from A to B.
