In this episode I share my recent lessons learned about consistent small steps adding up and being more beneficial than trying to do a thing in one giant leap. Thankful for the reminder.
I share a beautiful idea I learned from the fantastic Wini Linguvic about approaching new habit building as an experiment to mitigate the pressure and judgement that can arise when we're trying to shift directions into a new habit or practice in our lives... because that shit is hard, it takes time, and you will have days that don't go as planned.
As we know the number one concern and job of the brain is survival and safety and with that new experiences land in the uncertain and potentially unsafe category. This is why it's difficult to change the habits and behaviors we have been practicing for years.
I talk a little bit about how you change your brain with new experiences and that 2 minutes that you deem as insignificant or not enough time to make a difference makes all the difference in the world of your brain's structure and function.
Alright, get in there and give it a listen!
