Today I'm talking about the importance of community.

We all need a sense of community support and belonging to contribute to our overall mental and personal health.

Communities come in various sizes and are made up of any number of shared experiences, beliefs, practices, actions, or a given location.

As we go through life our community memberships will change. Some communities, like the ones that are linked to our core identities will likely be long lasting community memberships. There are other communities that we will join and later part from depending on our circumstance or change of beliefs.

I believe that community is important because it gives us the opportunity to live in shared experiences and find the people who can share in the mutual needs/wants at any given time.

My hope is to help facilitate a community of people who know there is an alternative option to living in constant worry, stress, and overwhelm. One that values growth and knowledge of how we can practice agency over our lives. One that believes in individual growth and healing as a means to contribute to the greater global community.

These are my hopes.
