I had a moment of stress that reminded me of how far I've come and that this journey to self-development and learning to create the person and life that feels good.
I had a bit of stress pop up for me and I saw an immediate reaction that I haven't seen in a long time. I walk you through how I turned this moment into an opportunity to celebrate my growth and use the tools I've cultivated and practiced instead of choosing a shame spiral.
The key am learning over and over again is that the process is the goal. The end result can only come from the process and so... that my friend needs to be the focus.
It's never about living a stress free perfectly calm life, because that doesn't exist. It's about learning to respond instead of react.
It's about learning to pause and notice your reaction and give yourself the time to redirect.
There's that old saying "wherever you go, there you are" and that applies to all things. The work you're doing to manage your internal state will manifest in your external environment as you continue to shift.
This doesn't happen all at once and it's really tempting to focus on the question "are we there yet?" ... and that's when we have to focus on the process being the goal. Showing up is the goal.
Get in there and give it a listen!
