The ability to change your mind and integrate new information to form different perspectives and opinions allows us to release the rigid standards and expectations that keep us overwhelmed and stressed out.

Since our stress response is a biologically adaptive tool to help us learn and grow and change our mind with new experience and information, you'd think it might be easier... but we're humans and we like to make things hard.
