Today's episode was inspired by an experience I had last week at my job where I found myself spending my energy and attention on someone else's worry.
We've all done this and know what it's like to revisit our conversations and think "I should have said..." or "next time I'm going to say..."
The thing with this is that we're not allowing the past, this thing that's already happened, to just be in the past. So, then we can't move on with our lives either!
We're carrying around this thing and spending today's energy on yesterday's nonsense, then we wonder why we're short today, why we don't have energy, can't focus, and feel like we're overwhelmed and upset.
