Episode 35 – The one about labelling

Labels tell you a lot about something. On a can, it tells you what’s inside, so you don’t eat dog food instead of baked beans. On clothes, it tells you the brand and, more importantly, whose undies you’re about to put on.

In this week's show we look at the labels we put on our life events and emotions.

Have you ever been talking to someone and they are telling you about that time they tried to buy a pair of shoes, but the store didn’t have their size, and they were devastated! Really? Devastated? That’s the label they're going to use to describe this shopping frustration!

The meaning of an event will become the event, so our choice of words is important. And yes we know that’s NLP, so for all you NLP gurus out there, this is not the podcast for you. To be honest, if you drink Canadian club, this may not be the podcast for you either.

Plus, Ish nails a few dad jokes, Sacha unleashes her inner word geek, and we do a shout out to a group of students for a new business initiative.
