Episode fifteen– the one about the ‘80s
The good old days! In today’s show we share our favourite memories of what the world was like when we were growing up. Growing Pains, Family Ties, Different Strokes and the best theme song for a TV show EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. Did you know that in 1988 it wasn’t cool to wear track pants with stripes down the side? Don’t worry, neither did Ish! We take a look at the financial system of those more innocent times and Ish explains why his mother wrote him a note to take to the shop.
We also discuss the paradox that right now, at this moment, we are creating the memories that in twenty years times we’ll be nostalgic about. That lays a challenge for how we live now and the choices we make.
